Jones novel and by far my favorite. She manages to take a somewhat implausible story line and create something genuine and moving. I was kind of expecting another "teen" book with some extra fluff thrown in for good measure, but this was so much more. Finley was so believable to me - somewhat prickly and sarcastic, but under||Jones has incredible insight into her teen characters. They are complex, yet have a lighter side and irresistible charm.
